Our story





The beauty of the Dominican Republic is enough to capture anyone's heart. Mix in the warm smiles of the locales and the taste of the fresh cuisine and it becomes nearly impossible to leave. Miguel and his wife moved to the Dominican Republic on a calling to spread the gospel to unreached communities. Years later, they now have four children whom they raise as native Dominicans and a ministry that has grown to support a various initiatives. Micro Loans are just one way that their ministry can support their neighbors and grow in community with people all over the island.



Our vision





Our vision is to see the chains of lifelong poverty be broken through micro loan opportunities. We believe that there is an abundance of talent here on the island, but not enough opportunity to capture those skills. By providing micro loans to talented individuals, we give them the opportunity to create a new life with a sustainable income and break out of the grips of financial burden. More than simply help an individual, we want our micro loans to help communities. That's why we seek individuals in communities who are leaders and positive influencers. That way the benefits of a micro loan can spread further than just one home.

Our team meets an individual in a local community struggling to support themselves or their family financially.





After getting to know the individual personally. we brainstorm ways they can earn money based on their talents and skills.





Using the money donated by you, we create a loan structure to be paid back within a given time frame.





Our team continues to support the individual and their new business, offering business advice and personal encouragement.

About the dominican republic





The Dominican Republic is located on the island of Hispaniola along with the country of Haiti, and is home to a beautiful variety of landscapes such as rolling mountains and gorgeous beaches. Although the country provides breathtaking views, it's the people that make the DR as special as it is. However, this developing country faces an average unemployment rate of 12%, and there are little opportunities for safe work in rural regions. With a large population looking for micro business opportunities, our team provides the micro loans necessary to help kick start these dreams and create jobs across the island.
